Updated: Aug 8, 2020

Your Wedding Day is one of the biggest days of your life and it must be perfect! That's what we all think but, most times at least one thing happens on the day of that makes it less than perfect! There is so much more to a marriage than the wedding day., Of course you want to have photos and memories to look back on later but, the marriage itself is of uttermost importance. Is he the right one? Are you ready to spend the rest of your life with this man? Are you ready for marriage? Tying the knot is a huge step in a relationship and you want to be certain before you commit all the way. Beauty isn't all about how you look, but it's also about how you feel. Here are 4 Beauty Tips t help you get ready for your big day!!!

Tip #1: Don't Stress!!

Believe it or not stress can be a huge factor to how you look on the outside, especially your face! I know, in fact we all know it's easier said than done when it comes to weddings, but it's not impossible! When planning for anything you don't want to leave things till last minute because it can make everything go wrong or make it harder to be done on time. Do not stress, plan ahead, get help, relax and have fun! As much as you want to everything yourself you can't, you need help, let people help you get ready for your big day. You will thank me for this tip. Stress will show no matter how much you try and cover it up and it doesn't look good in pictures. Just thought you should know tress can cause breakouts and/or pimples, so if you want clear skin or nice skin DON'T STRESS!!

Tip #2: Go Makeup Free

Going makeup free is hard for many people for different reasons, maybe you feel embarrassed of your skin without makeup, you wear it everyday or you just like it so much and it's a must! Well let me tell you something, going makeup free is not good for your skin (especially your pores), but it also makes you feel relaxed and free. If you can go makeup free to bed for 8 hours you can do it for a whole day! I recommend trying to wear as little makeup as possible if any at all the week(s) leading up to the big day because that way you give your skin a break and your makeup might even turn out better than imagine on the day of! Cheers to having flawless makeup and skin on your big day!!!

Tip #3: Relax

It is hard to not be constantly busy when your wedding is right around the corner but, you must find time to relax! Don't work so hard, like I mentioned earlier, allow other people to help you plan and do things because it gives you time to relax. Do something you enjoy whether that is reading, singing, gaming or Netflix! Relaxation is key and can help relieve as well as prevent stress. If something isn't going the way you expect be calm and take a minute and then handle it or even pass it on to someone else. Take a break and then continue or move on to something different on your list. Plan your time so you don't relax too long otherwise you can become stressed or even not get things done. Set a timer for yourself or make a schedule but do relax and be calm because it will make you feel good and look good for your big day!!!

Tip #4: Drink Lots of Water

You might be thinking why this would be a tip, well allow me to explain. Even if you drink a lot of water already, in the business of things it it is easy to not drink water. Water not only keeps you hydrated but it also cleanses your insides. The last thing anyone wants is to faint on their big day, so make sure you keep hydrated and that your body is cleansed. Falling ill can also happen if you neglect drinking water, SO DRINK IT you will thank me later. Also, you should follow this tip because it will be beneficial in helping your skin stay hydrated and clear!!!

Of course there are more than 4 tips that can help you prepare for your big day but if I shared them all that would take forever. Like I mentioned earlier the most important thing about a wedding is that you marry the right person. Your marriage is what counts not the actual ceremony, you can spend thousands of dollars to tie the knot and then years of torment and stress to only divorce the person and pay another big sum of money. Be wise, Be calm, Be right, Be beautiful, you got this!

P.S. as a christian I realize that if God has prepared my husband for me and if He is involved 100% in the arrangement then there is absolutely nothing that I should be worried about! Congrats to you, God bless!!!
